Reach out to www.MNREVA.org as they are trying to get venues to join their coalition to advocate against life safety measures at the Capitol claiming it would bankrupt them. We have emails to prove this and willing to share. Ever wonder how 15 venues did it right and these folks do not want to?
By use of social media and consumer notification you can help us report unsafe venues by submitting anonymous tips for our review (name and address of venue) to info@mnbarnvenues.com
If you own one of these venues and have documentation proving you have a fire sprinkler system and additional safety features, please send to info@mnbarnvenues.com we would love to move you up on the list to “Legal Safe Barns”.
We encourage you to reach out to your legislators and tell them you want to be ensured you and your family are safe in a barn wedding venue!

THE LIST OF ILLEGAL UN-SAFE VENUES WITH NO FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM:
Sorry! We removed because their attorneys don't like their clients listed here and they are threatening us. We would be happy to send you a list that the State Fire Marshal has. Actually, it would be better if you get from the folks listed above. If you can find on Google and Facebook, why can't we list them?
They are easy to search and spot on Google and Facebook. That is how we found them. In our opinion, these venues are not compliant with the State Building Codes as laid to us by the Department of Industry & Labor. Please use your own judgement and ask for yourself if they are safe based on the State's code that have been in place with minimal changes from the 1980's. What happened is the State Building Code is rock solid and easy to follow, however, Building Officials across the State refuse to follow it to a "T" causing venue owners to be non-compliant with the State Building Codes. Now that they know the truth is out, they are fighting us to comply. It makes no sense as they charge the same price in the metro area and cannot afford what the compliant venues had to do? It's going to bankrupt them? Prove it! By looking at their photos they have spent hundreds of thousands preparing the property by refuse to install the State required safety features for you and your guests.
